Greenville Grande Treats Customers Like Stars

Greenville Grande 14 theater excels in customer service.
Even though it’s a modern multiplex with 14 screens‚ step into the Greenville Grande 14 and you’ll feel like you’re in a mom-and-pop movie theater.
The reason? At the Greenville Grande‚ everyone from the general manager to the folks behind the concession counter is focused on customer service. When the theater opened in April 2007‚ General Manager Ryan Coon knew that he and his staff had to go above and beyond to create customer loyalty.
“We have a lot of competition. At home people can turn on the TV or go rent a movie. We have to make people come here and to want to come back‚” Coon says.
And they do that by providing the utmost in care for their customers with amenities such as stadium seating on 18-inch risers‚ which means everyone has a clear view of the screen. Other perks include reclining seats‚ listening devices‚ wheelchair seating‚ family bathrooms in both hallways‚ self-service butter stands and a customer service kiosk right in the center of the lobby.
The theater’s location in the developing south part of Greenville is also a factor in its success. It is the anchor of this area that is seeing lots of new retail growth‚ including a new mall‚ as well as new restaurants.
“The location is perfect. Business‚ so far‚ has been unbelievable‚” says David Price‚ assistant manager of the theater.
It will continue to be unbelievable as long as Coon and his staff keep their upbeat enthusiasm for serving their clientele. “We all love movies‚ and we want everyone to come out and enjoy themselves. Our job is making sure people enjoy their movie and get lost in the movie‚” Coon says.
